Route details

Please note this is a slightly improved route from the one used on the 2020 edition.

The Eden Valley Ultra Trail is a single 50km loop around the beautiful Kent countryside, starting and finish in Hever.

From the event base the route travels clockwise passing through Hever, Edenbridge, Chartwell, Toys Hill, Ide Hill, Sevenoaks Weald, Leigh & Penshurst to name a few.

There are many breathtaking views from the trail especially towards the middle section in the hills and woodlands on the Greensand Way.

Aside from the natural beauty there are many stunning historic buildings and picturesque villages to enjoy on the way around.

The route is mainly flat and undulating except for a hillier section in the middle between ~25-35km.

The course record was set last year by Mike Reade in 04:09:57.
